Book of Solidarity Opened at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Uganda
Following the military aggression by the Zionist regime and the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran, a book of solidarity was opened at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kampala.
The ceremony, held on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, witnessed the presence of Ugandan government officials, ambassadors and diplomatic representatives based in Kampala, academic figures, and members of civil society organizations. They signed the book of solidarity and expressed their heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the government and people of Iran.
Among the prominent guests was Rt. Hon. Rukia Isanga Nakadama, Third Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda, who visited the Embassy and, while expressing deep sorrow over the tragedy, called for the restoration of peace in the region.
Additionally, a number of ambassadors from different countries also expressed their solidarity by signing the book and reaffirming their countries’ friendly relations and solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
